Zen Technologies, a frontrunner in India's anti-drone technology and defence training solutions, has announced the successful delivery of its groundbreaking Zen Anti-Drone System with Hard-Kill (Zen ADS HK) to the Army Air Defence College in Gopalpur, Odisha. This achievement represents a significant milestone in enhancing India's defence capabilities against evolving drone threats.
The Army Air Defence College, entrusted with training India's Air Defence Corps, had placed an order for the Zen ADS HK 18 months ago, following promising preliminary trials demonstrating accurate cueing of automatic gun platforms. Zen's dedicated team meticulously designed, developed, and delivered a system that exceeds expectations, following extensive testing and trials.
Expanding on its established soft kill anti-drone systems deployed by the Indian Air Force, Zen ADS HK introduces a new level of protection. This sophisticated system seamlessly integrates with existing legacy defence infrastructure and features a state-of-the-art Electro-Optical Tracking System (EOTS), developed in-house by Zen. The EOTS incorporates a day camera, thermal camera, and a Laser Range Finder (LRF) for precise all-weather auto-tracking.
Zen's engineers have crafted a software interface that seamlessly integrates with the L-70 Air Defence Gun, a cornerstone of the Indian Army's arsenal and several other nations. The system offers versatility, enabling integration with various cue-able automatic gun platforms for broader deployment.
The entirely indigenous design, development, and manufacturing of the Zen ADS HK within India mark a significant leap in domestic defence technology. Zen remains committed to delivering cutting-edge solutions for robust air defence. The Zen ADS HK not only empowers the Indian Army but also positions Zen as a leader in the global anti-drone market.
