Zydus Hospitals acquires Columbia Asia Ahmedabad unit.

Zydus Hospitals, a subsidiary of pharma major Zydus Group, has acquired the Ahmedabad unit of Columbia Asia Hospital Pvt Ltd for an undisclosed amount. Zydus Hospitals, launched three years ago, currently operates two hospitals, in Ahmedabad and Anand. “This acquisition provides an opportunity to get a ready infrastructure and will enable Zydus Hospitals in setting up an exclusive cancer care centre with the latest technology and infrastructure just adjacent to its hospital in Ahmedabad,” it said in a statement.
