Construction work at Jeddah airport begins

Work has begun on the SAR 27.1 billion contract for construction of the new Jeddah airport.

The Phase I of the mega project includes the passengers terminals complex, control towers, runways, supporting facilities, yards, roads, tunnels, underpasses, infrastructure, private airlines terminals, a safety building and a surveillance complex.

The contract was signed by Crown Prince Sultan Bin Abdul Aziz Deputy PM, minister of defense and aviation and inspector general and the Bin Laden Group.
