Unilever’s Magnum Ice Cream Company has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Maharashtra government to establish its India headquarters in Mumbai and a global capability centre (GCC) in Pune, with a total investment of ₹900 crore.

The Mumbai office will also serve as the regional headquarters for the Middle East, Turkey, and South Asia, while the Pune-based GCC is expected to generate over 500 direct jobs by 2029, according to an official release.

The MoU was signed during the India Global Forum NXT25 Summit held in Mumbai, where the state government announced agreements worth around $50 billion with global and domestic investors.
