Mahindra's agri unit forms JV with Holland's HZPC for seed potato business.

The agricultural division of Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd. signed a joint venture agreement with HZPC Holland B.V., a firm that specializes in potato breeding, seed potato growing and seed potato trading, the companies said in a joint statement recently.

The joint venture (JV) aims to offer the best quality seed potatoes to farmers within and outside India. The JV will have Mahindra and HZPC holding 60% and 40% equity, respectively, in the company. HZPC is a farmers' company with majority equity held by farmers.
