On the occasion, ANU Vice-Chancellor K. Viyyanna Rao said that the MoU was aimed at development of bilateral cooperation between the ANU-GERMI and the CRBA in the field of standardisation, certification and training in solar roof top installation.

CRBA founder chairman Gadde Rajling said that the ANU-GERMI would extend technical know-how and also training.

Though demand for solar energy equipment was increasing, there were a few technicians who can do repairs.

The MoU would bridge the gap as the CRBA proposes to impart training in installation of solar energy equipment, operation, maintenance and repairing, he said.Solar energy
