Refex Green Power Ltd Secures NTPC Tender for 100 MW Solar Power Project

Refex Green Power Limited (RGPL), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Refex Renewables & Infrastructure Limited, has successfully secured a tender to establish a 100-MW Solar Power Project through a competitive bidding process conducted by NTPC Limited, a Maharatna company.

Under the terms of the tender, NTPC will enter into a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with RGPL for a duration of 25 years, based on RfS No: NTPC/RE-CS/2024-25/Solar-01 dated June 24, 2024. RGPL is expected to sign the PPA with NTPC within 90 days following the issuance of the Letter of Award (LoA).

The total estimated cost of the project is approximately ₹480 crores, and the scheduled commissioning date for the full capacity is set for 24 months from the effective date of the PPA. This project marks a significant step in expanding renewable energy infrastructure in India, contributing to the country's sustainability goals.
