RRVUNL insists BHEL to complete projects by March 2009

Tiruchi: S.K. Calla, Chairman and Managing Director of Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Nigam Limited (RRVUNL) visited the BHEL, Tiruchi, to review the ongoing projects being executed at the plant.

Accompanied by M.L. Kothari, Director – Technical, Mr. Calla inspected the progress made in manufacture of equipment meant for their projects. Expressing satisfaction over the status, Mr. Calla urged BHEL to complete the projects by March 2009, as per the schedule.

BHEL is executing orders for RRVUNL at Chhabra (2 x 250 MW), Suratgarh (1 x 250 MW) and Kota (195 MW), totally valued at Rs. 1,600 crore. RRVUNL has been placing repeat orders over the years and almost all power utilities in the State are made up of BHEL equipment, according to a press release.
