Samsung Engineering bags EPC contract for Carbon Black and Delayed Coker Project in Ruwais

Abu Dhabi Oil Refining Company signed USD 2.48 billion engineering, procurement and construction contract with Samsung Engineering for its Carbon Black and Delayed Coker Project in Ruwais, Abu Dhabi.
The project will transform heavy oil produced by ADNOC's current refineries as well as its new refinery under construction in Ruwais, into light petroleum derivatives.
The project will be completed by January 2016. It will produce 40,000 tonnes of carbon black per year and process 30,000 barrels of crude oil per day.
