Suzlon submits DPR for Rs 600-cr wind power project

Mumbai: Suzlon Energy Ltd has submitted the Detailed Project Report (DPR) to the Orissa government for a 99 MW wind power plant at Damanjodi in Koraput district to be set up at a cost of around Rs 600 crore.

The government has also submitted proposals to the Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA) for eight solar power projects in the state, each with a capacity of 1 MW and these projects are likely to be approved soon.
