4-laning of NH 73: gets environmental clearance

PANCHKULA: The four-laning project of NH 73 finally got environmental clearance from ministry of environment and forests. NHAI got this clearance last week.

According to the sources, the issue was pending in the ministry of environment and forests for the past one year. Land for the four laning of NH-73 they have already acquired 80% land and also awarded compensation against the acquired land.

35 private firms had come forward and talks with them is on. NHAI expect to start the work on the project soon.
