8 uplift projects to be completed in Muhammad Agha

Pul-i-alam: Eight uplift projects were completed in Muhammad Agha district of central Logar province on Monday.

National Solidarity Program, head in Logar Eng. Abdul Rahman said that the projects were completed in Dag, Dawrankhel, Sheraza, Hakimkhel and Nazar Kala villages.

He said the projects consisted of distributing tailoring machine among poor women, women literacy courses, construction of bridges, canal clearance and power supply.

Abdul Rahman said the total costs of the projects were 11 million afghanis, and the local community contribution was 10 per cent.

He said over 3000 families benefited from the projects.

He added during last three years over 240 projects have been completed in Logar province while 774 are on-going.
