'90 p.c. inner ring road work done by Congress'.

Ninety per cent of the inner ring road work was done during the Congress regime, said PCC general secretary and former floor leader Meesala Rajeswara Rao.

Addressing the media at Andhra Ratna Bhavan here on Thursday, Mr. Rajeswara Rao said work on IRR began seven years ago and 90 per cent of the work on the 9.84-km stretch of road was completed. Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu was claiming that his government had completed the road in a matter of two years.

He said the Congress government was more focused on developmental activity rather than promoting itself. Similarly, the TD was claiming that it was able to link the Godavari River with the Krishna, but it could achieve this only because of the work done by the Congress.

Congress leaders paid floral tributes to former Chief Minister Kasu Brahmananda Reddy on the occasion of his birth anniversary.
