Alchemist Group is planning to venture into hospitality sector.

The Group will be foraying into hospitality sector under the brand name of ‘Uber’ luxury hotel. The Group plans to invest around Rs 500 crore to set up three hotel properties under the brand Uber.

It has under its fold an eight-acre property on the banks of the Sutlej in Rupnagar district of Punjab that will be utilised to set up a five-star luxury project. Apart from the one at Rupnagar, the other hotels will be upgradation of Kufri Resort in an area of about 3.5 acre and one in Chandigarh Industrial Area.
