AM Green Technology Completes Billion-Dollar Acquisition of Chempolis Oy and Fortum 3 B.V. Entities
AM Green Technology and Solutions B.V., a subsidiary of AM Green Group, has announced the signing of binding agreements to acquire Chempolis Oy and Fortum 3 B.V. entities, although the specific financial details of the deal have not been disclosed.
In a statement regarding the acquisition, AM Green revealed plans to invest $1 billion over the next three years aimed at producing over 0.5 million tons per annum (MTPA) of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) to support global airline decarbonization efforts.
The company intends to leverage Chempolis’s technology through a licensing model to create a global bio-refinery ecosystem. AM Green plans to establish large-scale biorefineries that will utilize multiple feedstocks and produce high-value green products, thereby contributing to decarbonization across various sectors, including aviation, fuels, chemicals, and other industries.
This strategic partnership aims to foster collaboration with global partners, accelerating the transition to sustainable energy solutions while addressing pressing environmental concerns.
