Auto Hub to be set up in Peethampur: Geete.

Union Minister for Heavy Industries Anant Geete, interacting with eminent citizens recently, said that an Auto Hub would be developed in Peethampur near Indore. Geete said the hub would be developed near auto-testing track in Peethampur. Car manufacturing and automobile units would come under this hub.

Geete also sought their suggestions. Bairagarh Vastra Vyavsayi Sangh’s President Ramesh Aswani told Geete that the government is working on the formula of 'Vyapariyon Se Khincho aur Karamchariyon Ko Sincho’ (Extort from businessmen and pay bounties to employees). Geete showed his agreement with Aswani’s submission and said he also has the same concern. Geete said he would put up this matter before the Prime Minister and Union Finance Minister. Demand to increase income tax limit to Rs 5 lakh was also raised before Geete. He was also asked to exempt things of basic needs from taxes. Demand to spare marriage expenses and senior citizens from taxes was also put up before the Union Minister. People urged him to streamline taxation.
