Bahrain to build 179-unit Arad housing project.

Bahrain Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has directed officials to start building 179 housing units in Arad, Gulf Daily News has reported.

The project is part of the second phase of a development in which 140 units have already been completed.

The Prime Minister, chairing the weekly Cabinet meeting at Gudaibiya Palace, also issued directives to study plans for a housing project east of Muharraq.

Further instructions were given to officials to distribute housing units to beneficiaries in the completed projects in Zallaq, Hunainiya, Jaw and Askar, without delay.
