BEML Secures $6.23 Million in New Orders, Boosting CIS Presence.
Bharat Earth Movers Limited (BEML) has secured two significant export orders valued at $6.23 million from the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) region, including a notable breakthrough into the Uzbekistan market.
The orders comprise the supply of 10 units of BEML's heavy-duty bulldozers. In a first for the company, Uzbekistan has also placed an order for one unit of BEML's high-performance motor grader. This particular equipment is crucial for infrastructure development and road maintenance, especially within mining operations.
Shantanu Roy, Chairman and Managing Director of BEML Ltd., expressed his enthusiasm regarding the new contracts. "This is a significant win for BEML and a reflection of our growing global competitiveness," Roy stated. He added, "Our entry into the Uzbekistan market and continued success in the CIS region reaffirm our vision to become a leading player in the international mining and defense markets."
