BGR Tech Partners with Elchemtech to Advance Hydrogen Solutions in India.

BGR Tech Ltd, a Prenora holding company, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Elchemtech Co Ltd, South Korea, to enhance hydrogen solutions in India. The partnership will introduce Advanced Proton Exchange Membrane Water Electrolysers (PEMWE), integrating Elchemtech’s PEM electrolysers with BGR Tech’s Balance of Plant (BoP) for hydrogen projects across the country.

As part of the collaboration, both companies are also exploring the potential to manufacture or assemble PEM stacks in India, according to a company statement.

Elchemtech’s H2Lyser© PEMWE is known for its high efficiency and compact design. Under this agreement, BGR Tech will integrate key components such as Ultrapure Water Treatment, Gas Separation (GSU), Hydrogen Purification (HPS), Oxygen Purification (OPS), and Low-Pressure Storage into modular skid configurations.

The partnership marks a significant milestone for BGR Tech in expanding its hydrogen technology portfolio, reinforcing its commitment to clean energy solutions.
