Bihar's Siwan Gets ₹5,900 Cr Development Push from PM Modi.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently inaugurated 28 development projects totaling over ₹5,900 crore in Bihar's Siwan district, marking a significant investment in the region's infrastructure and connectivity.

Among the key initiatives, Prime Minister Modi officially opened the new Vaishali–Deoria railway line project, constructed at a cost exceeding ₹400 crore. He also flagged off a new train service on this newly established route, aiming to enhance local and regional rail travel.

In a major push to improve connectivity across north Bihar, PM Modi additionally flagged off the Vande Bharat Express service. This new semi-high-speed train will connect Patliputra (Patna) and Gorakhpur (Uttar Pradesh), traversing through important hubs like Muzaffarpur and Bettiah. The introduction of the Vande Bharat Express is expected to significantly reduce travel time and improve comfort for commuters in the region.
