Brainware centre in Bhubaneswar

Kolkata: A new centre of the Brainware has been opened in Bhubaneswar.

The centre will offer four regular courses of one year durationin Financial Accounting, Hardware and Networking, Software Development, and Multimedia.

Course fee for these programmes is between Rs 12,000 and Rs 15,000.

The Financial Accounting Expert (FAE) course is for the commerce students with contents like Tally 9, Fact 27.02, e-filing, company law, capital market and mutual fund. It also includes contents like income-tax, corporate tax, excise, VAT payroll, financial analysis, auditing, investment and banking, Pradumna Kumar Rath, the centre co-ordinator said.

He said, hardware and networking programme is a job oriented course and includes PC assembling and maintenance, OS-Win 98, Linux, networking technology, topologies, protocols and transmission technologies.

Keeping in view the projected job opportunities in the IT sector, the centre has also introduced the Software Development Programme which includes contents like Linux, C, C++, Visual basic, Access, Java, MS.Net and Oracle 10G Express.

That apart, Multimedia magic programme is a combination of Multimedia and DTP.

It includes contents like Pagemaker, Coreldraw, Photoshop, Freehand, Flash, Director, Sound forge, 3D studio Max, Story board and flow charts.

Brainware has tied up with Jadavpur University for all these courses.
