Car rental firm to increase fleet strength

New Delhi: Car leasing and rentals company, LeasePlan India, will increase its fleet strength. It plans to invest around Rs 300 crore this year to for adding new cars to its fleet.

The company plans to add around 5,000 new cars. The funding will be done with financial assistance from HSBC, ABN-Amro, ING and Indus-Ind.

LeasePlan serves 120 towns and cities in the country and its major clients include Coca-Cola, ABN Amro Bank, Godrej Industries, LG and DHL.
