"Charles Schwab to Open Technology Center in Hyderabad"
US-based financial services firm Charles Schwab has announced plans to set up its inaugural Technology Development Centre in Hyderabad. This decision follows discussions between Schwab’s senior executives and a delegation from Telangana, led by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy.
The talks, which took place at Schwab’s headquarters in Dallas, involved senior executives Dennis Howard and Rama Bokka. The Chief Minister assured Schwab that the government would support the establishment of the centre by providing access to relevant talent and facilitating operations.
According to a statement from the Chief Minister’s Office, Charles Schwab is currently awaiting final approvals before providing further details about the centre and deploying a team to India for its official launch.
