Chennai-Chengalpattu elevated road.

The TN Government will study the feasibility of an elevated road linking Chennai to Chengalpattu, 50 km to the south of the city. State Minister for Housing and Urban Development R Vaithilingam announced in the Assembly that the elevated road is expected to reduce traffic congestion on NH-45, which links Chennai to Chengalpattu. The road will start at Thirusoolam, near Chennai international airport, and run along the national highway.
