CM Asks GHMC to Invite Tenders for Skyways, Roads.

Chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao recently directed GHMC officials to invite first-phase tenders for proposed skyways, major corridors and major roads to be built in Hyderabad.

He held a review meeting with ministers Nayani Narsimha Reddy, Talasani Srinivas Yadav, Mahendar Reddy, Padma Rao and Chief Secretary Rajiv Sharma on the issue. It was decided that skyways would come up in 135 km, major corridors in 166 km, major roads in 348 km and 54 grade separators in the GHMC area.

It was decided to invite tenders for the works in the first phase amounting to Rs. 3,981 crore.
