Diamond Power bags ₹44-cr order from Powergrid NM Transmission.

Diamond Power Infrastructure has received an order worth ₹44 crore from Powergrid NM Transmission for the supply of conductors, the company informed the exchanges through a notification. Powergrid NM Transmission is a subsidiary of PowerGrid Corp of India. According to the terms of the order, Diamond Power will supply 765kV conductors for the 250-km Salem-Madhugiri transmission line of Powergrid NM’s Nagapattinam project. Diamond Power bagged the order through tariff-based competitive bidding, it said. Shares of Diamond Power gained 0.7 per cent at ₹45.4 on the NSE.
