DICV partners with IIM Calcutta Innovation Park to launch high-impact incubation programme.

Daimler India Commercial Vehicles (DICV), in partnership with the IIM Calcutta Innovation Park (IIMCIP), has launched the ‘DICV–IIMCIP Social Impact Incubation Programme’ under its CSR initiative. The programme aims to accelerate 10 high-potential social enterprises developing technology-driven, scalable, and sustainable solutions aligned with India’s Viksit Bharat vision and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

According to a company statement, the initiative will focus on sectors crucial to India’s inclusive and green growth, including Sustainability, Green Mobility, Community Development, and Women Empowerment.

The programme provides a structured incubation pathway with financial and mentoring support. Each of the 10 selected enterprises will receive a ₹1 lakh Fellowship Grant, while the top five performers will qualify for the next phase to access Implementation Grants of up to ₹20 lakh each, along with intensive mentoring and network access to scale their impact.
