Dilip Buildcon Limited has secured a contract worth approximately ₹688 crore from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for the construction of a four-lane elevated corridor on National Highway 65 (NH-65) in Solapur, Maharashtra.
The proposed elevated corridor will extend approximately 9.66 kilometres and is aimed at improving urban road connectivity, reducing traffic congestion and facilitating smoother vehicular movement along the busy highway stretch.
The development is expected to enhance traffic capacity, improve road safety and reduce travel delays for commuters and freight transport passing through Solapur.
The project represents a significant investment in the region's highway infrastructure and forms part of broader efforts to modernise national highway connectivity.
The contract award marks an important milestone in the project's implementation, with Dilip Buildcon taking responsibility for executing the designated construction works.
The ₹688 crore figure represents the awarded contract value rather than an independently verified total project investment.
