Dubai Health Authority awards construction contract to Al Futaim Carillion

Dubai Health Authority signed a contract for the construction of a super specialty hospital for children the first of its kind in the whole region.

The 200 bed hospital will cost AED 673 million to build and will have several centers of excellence dedicated to cancer care, cardiology, neurology and mental health.

Mr Qadhi Al Murooshid DG of DHA said that the contract for the construction of the hospital was signed with Al Futaim Carillion. It will be built on a sprawling 100,000 square metres within the grounds of Al Wasl Hospital. The children friendly hospital will redefine pediatric care in the UAE and the wider region.
