"Flutter Entertainment Opens New Global Capability Centre in India"

Flutter Entertainment, a leading online sports betting and iGaming company, has inaugurated its new Global Capability Centre in Hyderabad, India, with an investment of $3.5 million.

The 80,000 sq. ft. facility will employ over 700 staff members specializing in various areas including data engineering, game integrity services, HR operations, procurement, safety and security, and customer operations. This centre is designed to support Flutter's growth across its diverse portfolio of offerings.

Phil Bishop, Chief Operating Officer of Flutter Entertainment, described the expansion as a significant milestone, reflecting the company's commitment to investing in top talent and driving global business growth. "Our expansion in India marks a huge milestone in Flutter’s growth and demonstrates our ongoing dedication to enhancing our global operations," Bishop stated on Tuesday.

Ashish Sinha, Managing Director of Flutter Entertainment India, added that the new centre aligns with the company's strategy to advance product and technology improvements in iGaming and sports betting. “This expansion is part of our plan to change the game by enabling continuous improvement in our offerings,” Sinha said.

In its latest financial report, Flutter Entertainment registered revenue of $11.79 billion for 2023, marking a 25% growth year-over-year. The company also reported a revenue of $3.61 billion for the quarter ending June 30, 2024.
