Foundation stone laid for second trade terminal at Krishnapatnam.

Santosh Gangwar, Union Minister of State for Finance, laid the foundation stone for the second trade and transport terminal at Krishnapatnam Port in Nellore district, according to a press release.

The terminal will pave the way for grater ease of doing business, swift clearances and speedy procedures for documentation. It would greatly enhance the efficiency of the fast-growing port on the east coast, the minister said. It would be a full-fledged facility for transporters, custom house agents (CHAs) and freight forwarders of the port for their daily business transactions.

On the occasion, Ch. Sasidhar, the MD of Krishnapatnam Port Company Ltd, said the port was committed to serving port users in the best possible manner and contributing to the economic development of the region.
