"Govt to Fully Support 'Singapore in Bengaluru' Development, Says MB Patil"

The Karnataka government has pledged full support for the development of a “Singapore in Bengaluru,” ensuring the provision of necessary infrastructure such as land, water, power, and connectivity. This commitment came in response to the Singapore Business Federation’s (SBF) interest in setting up their office in Bengaluru, as stated by MB Patil, Minister of Large & Medium Industries and Infrastructure Development.

“We will maintain close communication with SBF to facilitate their investment in the state,” Patil affirmed.

A high-level delegation from SBF, led by Vice-Chairman Prasoon Mukherjee, expressed their intent to establish the project in Bengaluru, contingent upon the cooperation of the state government.

Patil also extended an invitation to SBF entrepreneurs to participate in Karnataka’s flagship event, the ‘Global Investors Meet,’ scheduled for February 12-14, 2025.

The meeting was attended by LK Atheeq, Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister, S. Selvakumar, Principal Secretary, and Gunjan Krishna, Commissioner of the Department of Industries.
