Govt Urged to Clear Telecom Projects.

The Cellular Operators' Association of India (COAI) has submitted a letter to Chief Secretary Kaushik Mukherjee highlighting several issues that need to be resolved to maintain the quality of cellular services in the state.

The letter was written jointly by COAI, the Association of Unified Telecom Service Providers of India and the Tower and Infrastructure Providers’ Association.

They have sought speedy clearance of pending tower and optical fibre cable installation projects on priority basis in line with the DOT Tower Installation guidelines of August 1, 2013. To avoid delays, the associations have asked for a single window clearance.
