Goyal Salt to Invest ₹80 Crore in New Plant in Kutch.

Goyal Salt, a prominent FMCG company specializing in salt production, has announced an ₹80 crore investment to establish a new salt manufacturing plant in Gandhidham, located near Kutch, the salt capital of India. The plant, covering 12 acres, is set to have an annual production capacity of 4.50 lakh tonnes and is currently in the trial run phase, with plans to become fully operational by the end of January.

In addition to the Gandhidham facility, Goyal Salt operates another unit in Nawa City, spread over 15 acres, dedicated to salt refining, raw salt storage, and packaging, with a capacity of 2.10 lakh tonnes per year.

The company produces a wide range of premium industrial and edible salts, including Triple Refined Free Flow Iodized Salt, Industrial Salt, Double Fortified Salt, and Triple Refined Half Dry Salt. Goyal Salt has built a strong presence in North India, with operations in states such as Bihar, Delhi, Haryana, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and West Bengal.

As part of its growth strategy, Goyal Salt aims to become one of the top three salt brands in India, with a focus on expanding its market share in Maharashtra and Gujarat.

Pramesh Goyal, Managing Director of Goyal Salt, emphasized that the new plant is a significant milestone in the company’s expansion plans, supporting growth in Western and Eastern regions, including Maharashtra, Gujarat, Odisha, and Assam. The plant is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and infrastructure to meet high standards of salt production, ensuring quality and efficiency.

With this investment, Goyal Salt continues to focus on increasing its production capacity, expanding its product range, and strengthening its market presence across India.
