"Gujarat to establish new IT and AI hub in close proximity to GIFT City."

The Gujarat government has announced plans to establish a dedicated cluster for the information technology (IT), IT-enabled services (ITES), and artificial intelligence (AI) sectors adjacent to GIFT City in Gandhinagar. The initiative aims to provide a significant boost to the state’s digital economy.

Other locations, including Dholera Special Investment Region (SIR) and Surat Dream City, were also considered for the ambitious project before finalising the site near GIFT City.

The new cluster is expected to attract technology firms, foster innovation, and create employment opportunities, reinforcing Gujarat’s position as a leading destination for digital and technology-driven industries.
