India's HPCL Inks Major LNG Supply Contract with ADNOC Gas.

State-run Hindustan Petroleum Corporation (HPCL) announced recently that it has secured a major long-term deal with Abu Dhabi Gas Liquefaction Company (ALNG), a subsidiary of ADNOC Gas, for the supply of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG).

The agreement, which will last for 10 years, solidifies a key source of fuel for HPCL’s operations. ADNOC Gas, a major player in the global gas market, will provide the LNG to HPCL.

Under the terms of the Heads of Agreement (HOA), the gas will be delivered to HPCL’s newly commissioned Chhara LNG Terminal in Gujarat. This supply will be used to meet the energy needs of the company's refineries, support its City Gas Distribution network, and be sold to other downstream customers.
