IVRCL secures lift irrigation order in Madhya Pradesh

Hyderabad: Engineering firm IVRCL Infrastructures & Projects said it has bagged a Rs 418.50-crore order for providing irrigation facilities to the government of Madhya Pradesh.

Under the three-year contract IVRCL would implement the lift irrigation project for the Narmada Development Division of the Madhya Pradesh government, the company said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.

The scope of work would also include maintenance of complete commissioned scheme for one year, the filing said.

Last month the company had received a Rs 715-crore order for execution of a lift irrigation project in Andhra Pradesh.

Shares of IVRCL were trading at Rs 229.50, down 5.48 per cent in the afternoon trade on the BSE.
