Japanese firm plans new units in India

Kochi: Japan-based Kao Corporation has plans to set up manufacturing and marketing facilities in India.

Kao Corporation is a leading manufacturer of soaps, detergents, lifestyle and healthcare products in Asia.

Under the plan, the firm has surveyed Kuttippuram and Koratty town in Kerala for setting up manufacturing and marketing facilities.

The group is planning investments worth Rs 150 crore in the country.
