Ion Exchange Shares Jump 2.5% After Securing ₹205 Crore Solar Sector Contract.

Shares of Ion Exchange (India) Limited rose 2.52% recently, closing at ₹391.85, up ₹9.65 from the previous close of ₹382.20. The stock hit an intraday high of ₹416.50, with trading volumes reaching 92.17 lakh shares valued at ₹374.58 crore.

The stock surge followed the company’s December 15 announcement of securing contracts worth around ₹205 crore from two solar sector clients. Rayzon Energy Private Limited awarded a ₹95 crore contract to Ion Exchange for an Ultra-Pure Water system, effluent treatment plant (ETP), and zero liquid discharge (ZLD) facility for its 5.1 GW photovoltaic solar project in Kathwada Village, Surat, Gujarat.
