Karnataka Approves ₹27,607 Crore Investment Projects at 66th State High-Level Clearance Committee Meeting
Karnataka has approved 13 investment projects worth ₹27,607.26 crore at the 66th meeting of the State High-Level Clearance Committee (SHLCC) held recently. The projects are expected to generate around 8,704 direct jobs, according to Large and Medium Industries Minister M.B. Patil.
The approvals comprise 11 new investment proposals and two expansion projects, with ₹27,228.51 crore allocated for new investments and ₹378.75 crore for expansions.
Major new investments include ₹9,298 crore by SFX India Mfg Private Ltd (creating 806 jobs) and ₹7,102 crore by JSW JFE Electrical Steel Private Ltd (creating 900 jobs). Other key proposals include ₹1,622 crore by Reliance Consumer Products Ltd (1,200 jobs), ₹1,520.75 crore by Schneider Electric IT Business India Pvt Ltd (550 jobs), and ₹1,386 crore by Grasim Industries Ltd (203 jobs).
