"Karnataka Clearance Committee Greenlights Projects Worth ₹17,835.9 Crore"

Under the leadership of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, Karnataka's 63rd State High-Level Clearance Committee (SHLCC) has given the green light to six new projects and eight additional investment proposals, totaling ₹17,835.9 crore in investment and promising the creation of 27,000 jobs across the state.

The committee endorsed six new projects valued at ₹8,220.05 crore, along with eight additional investment proposals amounting to ₹9,615.85 crore. Notably, Wistron's proposal to invest ₹2,095 crore, aiming to generate employment opportunities for 21,723 individuals in Karnataka, received approval.

Among the major proposals sanctioned by the government are investments by Air India Limited (₹1,750 crore), STT Global Data Centres India Private Limited (₹1,352.3 crore), Indian Cane Power Limited (₹1,078 crore), and ICT Service Management Solutions (India) Private Limited (₹1,450 crore).

The districts of Vijayapura, Kalaburagi, Ballary, and Belgaum in North Karnataka are poised to witness a surge in new and additional investments, amounting to ₹10,433.72 crores.

Minister for Large and Medium Industries and Infrastructure Development, MB Patil, along with IT/BT Minister Priyank Kharge, Chief Secretary to Government Dr. Rajneesh Goel, Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister LK Atheeq, and other senior officials, attended the SHLCC meeting where these decisions were made.
