Karnataka Clears 63 Projects Worth ₹1,740 Cr, 7,219 Jobs.
Karnataka's economy is poised for a significant boost following the approval of 63 new projects with a combined investment exceeding ₹1,741.60 crore. These projects are anticipated to generate direct employment for more than 7,219 people across the state.
The approvals came during the 153rd State Level Single Window Clearance Committee (SLSWCC) meeting, highlighting the state's continued efforts to attract investment and foster industrial growth.
Among the cleared proposals, seven large and medium industrial projects alone account for investments totaling ₹593.80 crore. These larger ventures are projected to create approximately 2,093 new job opportunities.
Furthermore, the committee gave the green light to 53 new projects, each with investments ranging between ₹15 crore and ₹50 crore. Cumulatively, these projects represent an investment of ₹1,106.60 crore and are expected to generate employment for around 4,961 individuals.
In addition to these, three supplementary investment proposals were also approved, contributing an additional ₹41.20 crore in investments and adding 165 jobs to the state's workforce.
This wave of approvals underscores Karnataka's proactive approach to enhancing its industrial landscape and providing substantial employment opportunities for its populace.
