Karnataka to have global financial district

Mangalore: Karnataka Government is planning to set up a global financial district near Bengaluru International Airport.

The proposed global financial district will assist in forming a consortium when major projects are planned. The district will have financial
institutions, banks and insurance companies.

The project will be developed under the public-private partnership model and it will come up within 18 months after its launch.
