Karnataka’s SLSWCC clears 65 projects
Bangalore: A total of 65 projects with a total investment of Rs 1,062.02 crore were cleared by Karnataka government's State Level Single Window Clearance Committee (SLSWCC). These projects have the potential to provide employment to 29,024 persons.
The SLSWCC is empowered to give a green signal for projects with investments up to Rs 50 crore. Prominent among the projects cleared were a flight training school at Mysore and hospitals with latest dialysis equipment in Bidar, Gulbarga, Bijapur, Davanagere, Mangalore and Mysore.
The highest number of proposals received were with regards to setting up metal-based industries; a total of 13 proposals with investments to the tune of Rs 350.42 crore.
Tourism sector received seven proposals with a total investment of Rs 208.05 crore, industries minister Murugesh R Nirani said.
