KMDC gets new dental hospital

Karachi: Karachi Nazim Mustafa Kamal inaugurated the dental hospital at the Karachi Medical and Dental College (KMDC). The 100-chair hospital has been established by the city government with a cost of Rs 250 million where costly treatment of dental diseases will be provided free of cost.

Addressing the inaugural ceremony and talking to media representatives, the nazim said that the city government has spent billions of rupees on the provision of better healthcare facilities to citizens in Karachi during the last three years.

The dental hospital at the KMDC has been equipped with latest machinery and equipment worth millions of rupees.

The city nazim said that the Haq Parast leadership had established this unique college during its first tenure at the local government and now it has doubled its seats from 50 to 100 on its second term. He said that the college infrastructure is being upgraded and soon a further increase in the seats will be requested.
