KSB Pumps doubles capacity at Nashik plant

Pune: Power driven pumps and industrial valves maker KSB Pumps has installed an additional plant at its existing facility in Sinnar near Nashik.

The new plant was inaugurated by Dr. Peter Buthmann, Member of the Board, KSB AG., and Dr. Hermann Nestler, Member of the Supervisory Board, KSB AG, recently.

As a result of the expansion, the company has doubled the existing 6,000 sq. m of production bays.

Mr Werner Spiegel, Managing Director, KSB Pumps Ltd, India, said, 'This expansion will address the production of the entire standard pump programme of KSB India for its domestic and export markets'.

KSB has manufacturing facilities at five locations in India and is currently the largest outside Germany. It serves as an important sourcing location for the KSB Group worldwide.
