L&T Arm to Execute EPC Projects for Petroleum Development Oman Under Six-Year Pact.

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) recently announced that its subsidiary, L&T Energy Hydrocarbon Onshore, has secured a six-year engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) framework agreement with Petroleum Development Oman (PDO).

Under the agreement, L&T Energy Hydrocarbon Onshore has been selected as one of four EPC contractors to execute PDO’s upcoming front-end engineering design and EPC projects over the six-year period, the company said in a regulatory filing.

L&T said it will leverage its integrated engineering and execution capabilities, along with its global experience and focus on innovation, to deliver projects under the framework.

The company also highlighted its commitment to supporting Oman’s In-Country Value (ICV) development by creating opportunities for local suppliers, subcontractors and service providers, while helping strengthen domestic capabilities.

E S Sathyanarayanan, Senior Vice President and Head of L&T Energy Hydrocarbon Onshore, said the agreement marks an important milestone in the company’s long-standing association with PDO.

"We look forward to supporting PDO's development plans through safe, innovative and sustainable project delivery, while contributing to Oman's long-term energy and economic growth objectives," Sathyanarayanan said.
