L&T Bags Rs. 2,935 Crore Order from Qatar.

Infrastructure firm Larsen & Toubro said its power transmission vertical has bagged a Rs. 2,935 crore order or setting up transmission and distribution network in Qatar.

'Power transmission and distribution business of L&T has secured an EPC (engineering, procurement and construction) order valued at Rs. 2,935 crore from Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation for supply and commissioning of transmission lines and substations,' the company said in a statement.

The order is part of expansion of the Qatar Power Transmission System.
