L&T Heavy Engineering Wins Multiple Orders in Q3 FY25.

Larsen & Toubro’s (L&T) Heavy Engineering division has announced the acquisition of several high-value orders in both international and domestic markets during the third quarter of FY25, according to a regulatory filing on January 8, 2025.

On the international front, L&T won a significant LNG equipment order for a project in the United States, one of its largest LNG orders to date. Additionally, the company secured a breakthrough contract for a loop reactor in a Propane Dehydrogenation Polypropylene Plant in Turkey, showcasing its expertise in the petrochemical sector.

L&T also received a repeat order from a Saudi Arabian oil & gas customer for a revamp project for a Fluid Catalytic Cracking Unit. In Kuwait, the company was awarded an order to supply critical components for hydrocracker reactors and high-pressure heat exchangers.

In the domestic market, L&T strengthened its position in the fertilizer sector by securing contracts for three urea reactors from Southern Petrochemical Industries Corporation, Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Ltd, and Indorama India Private Ltd, marking 17 consecutive wins in the urea reactor segment.

These “significant” orders, typically valued between ₹1,000 and ₹2,500 crore, underline L&T’s growing footprint in various sectors, including LNG, petrochemicals, oil and gas, and fertilizers.
