"L&T Lands Onshore Gas Pipeline Project in the Middle East"
Larsen & Toubro (L&T), operating through its Hydrocarbon vertical known as L&T Energy Hydrocarbon (LTEH), has successfully secured a significant onshore gas pipeline project from a client based in the Middle East.
The project's scope of work encompasses the engineering, procurement, and construction of two new 56” pipelines, along with the installation of associated scraper receivers and launchers, as well as main line isolation valve (MLIV) Stations. These pipelines are designed to run parallel to the existing pipeline corridor, thereby bolstering the region's infrastructure for efficient gas transportation.
Subramanian Sarma, Whole-time Director & Senior Executive Vice President (Energy) at L&T, expressed enthusiasm regarding the project, stating, "This is the largest cross-country pipeline EPC project awarded to us till date, and we are excited to bring our expertise to this strategic project."
L&T's Hydrocarbon vertical, LTEH, encompasses various business groups, including Offshore, Onshore EPC, Modular Fabrication, Advanced Value Engineering & Technology (AdVENT), and Offshore Wind Farm. It specializes in offering end-to-end solutions across the hydrocarbon sector, from design to construction.
